Q. How do I apply for an apartment?

A. Applications are available on the website; each prospective tenant must fill out a separate application.  Please submit applications with a check equal to one month's rent to:  3226 N St. N.W., Washington D.C. 20007. If your application is accepted, the check accompanying the application becomes the security deposit.  In the event that the apartment is already taken or the application is not accepted, your check will be voided or returned. 


Q. Do you have an application fee?

A.  No.  


Q. Do you accept tenants on a first-come-first served basis?

A. We reserve the right to advance and accept any application out of order from which it was received.


Q. Are utilities included in the rent?

A. Rent includes gas, heat and water but not electricity. 


Q. Is parking available?

A. There are a limited number of parking spaces available for rent at 1719 35th St. and 2219 California St.  All properties have street parking.


Q. Where do I do my laundry?

A. Laundry rooms are located in each building.


Q. Are pets allowed ?

A. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a pet fee.


Q. Is smoking allowed in the building?

A. No, all buildings are non-smoking venues.


Q. How do I make maintenance requests?

A. Tenants may access the Current Tenants section of the website to submit a maintenance request online or call (202) 741-0732 (ext. 1). Emergency requests should be made to (202) 741-0732 (ext. 0). Use of the emergency number is for situations that pose immediate physical harm or damage to the building. Please reserve after-hours calls for emergency repairs that cannot wait until the morning.


Q. Are the buildings secure?

A. All buildings have 24 hour security surveillance.
